Glad you're here
An impassioned academic and world traveler, I am currently based at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Born and raised in Bremen, I've have spent time studying in Hawai'i and Malta. As an Anthropologist, I focus on governance practices in the field of both forced migration and anthropogenic environmental change. In my teaching, I like to share my experiences and expertise on these topics with my students, but I also teach the core topics of the discipline with great passion – in both English and German. My research and teaching is located at the interface of anthropology, cultural studies and science and technology studies.
Feel free to browse my website and learn more about my current research projects, publications and teaching.
