The panel on "Visions of transformation in the Anthropocene" invited contributions that critically examine different modes of envisioning how the future should and could be in response to the increasing human-environmental crises of our time. In my presentation, I illustrated how responsibility for Sargassum algae is negotiated, (not) assumed, ascribed and viewed to be a more-than-human challenge.
