New Publication: The Power of Turtles

I'm happy to share that my article The Power of Turtles: Entangled Care in Akumal Bay, Mexico has just been published in Anthropology Today.

Based on ethnographic research, the piece explores how sea turtles—charismatic and ecologically vital—become powerful figures in conservation and tourism in Akumal.
