The Handbook of Environmental Anthropology, edited by Kathrin Eitel and Carsten Wergin, has just been published! It offers a comprehensive overview of current debates in environmental anthropology. The volume highlights diverse understandings of nature and culture, and the entanglements between people, places, and ecologies. Together with Michaela Fenske, I contributed the chapter on multispecies ethnography—a lens that foregrounds our shared worlds with nonhuman beings.
There’s a lot to discover in this rich and timely volume!
