Teaching

Teaching at the university has been an important part of my academic work since 2015. I sought out teaching opportunities at the Universities of Berlin, Bremen, and Vienna. Currently I teach at the Goethe University Frankfurt at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and European Ethnology.

It is important to me that my teaching not only enables academic and intellectual growth, but also that students come to realize the relevance of the topics we discuss. Thereby, it is my hope that students become better thinkers and understand the significance for their everyday lives and societal encounters.

I am concerned with establishing a learning environment in which students feel safe and confident and are thus willing to share their thoughts and experiences, too.
